Was instrumental in reviving the Association in 1993 after it was dormant for several years.1993 Vice- chairman upon election of the Executive Committee of the revived Association. In 1995 Chairman of Tasota, 1996- to-date : Trustee, 1996- 2014: Member of an East African APJC (Airline-Agency Joint Council ) representing Tasota.Chairman of APJC for several years from late 1990’s every alternate year when it was the turn of Travel Agents to chair the Council. 2000: Chairman of Tourism Confederation of Tanzania for 4 years (An apex body of all tourism Associations in Tanzania) representing Tasota. 2014: to-date: Treasurer of TCT representing Tasota.
